As all over the world, 8th September is celebrated as International Literacy Day and to mark that Day Thanawala Family has taken Literacy as theme of their Ganeshostav.<\/p>\n
As mentioned in history that Ved Vyas Muni has choosen Ganpatiji as writer of Mahabharat. Ved Vyas will dictate non stop to Lord Ganesh and in turn Ganpatiji will also write the same without any interruption.
The family has shown the same as part of their them. Ganpatiji and Ved Vyas sitting in a quiet place to write Mahabharat.<\/p>\n
Ganesha is considered to be the Lord of letters and learning. In Sanskrit, the word buddhi is an active noun that is variously translated as intelligence, wisdom, or intellect.
Ganesha is the Hindu god of wisdom, knowledge, and letters, and is also associated with literacy.
Umesh Thanawala, head of the family also said that apart from above, shown in decors are various materials used from time to time – like stone used to write, than metal, leaves, clothes etc. before paper ate being used. Even the writing instruments such as pointed iron, feather, leaves, slate pen, chalk, pencil, pen and so on.<\/p>\n
